"Literacy in the Arts" Forum

A conversation with Mark Shanda (Arts and Humanities Divisional Dean Arts, Theatre), Valarie Williams (Associate Dean, ASC Admin), Marjorie Chan (East Asian Languages and Literatures), Melanie Bales (Dance), Graeme Boone (Music), David Bruenger (Music), Brenda Brueggemann (English), Paul Reitter (Director Humanities Institute, German), and Harvey J. Graff (Director LiteracyStudies@OSU, English, History) about literacy in and across the arts. Organized by Susan Hanson, the goal of the conversation is to begin exploring the specific roles and relationships of literacy in the creation, production, performance, and understanding of the arts in general and the performing arts in particular.
