Maria Palazzi is the Director of the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) and Associate Professor of Design at The Ohio State University. At ACCAD Palazzi leads research and curriculum development in the areas of technology and the arts. The Center facilitates collaborative multidisciplinary research experiences for OSU faculty and graduate students around the areas of computer graphics, visualization, and animation in both the arts and technology. She is also the project leader and founder of ACCAD's annual summer program Digital Animation: A Technology Mentoring Program for Young Women.
