The Center for the Humanities in Practice is an initiative started by the Humanities Institute aiming to broaden the career options available to arts and humanities graduate students.
Work in the World
Work in the World is a semester long series of workshops dedicated to improving the conversation in the Arts and Humanities about careers outside academia. It seeks to engage academics and external partners in discussions about how humanities graduate students can put their unique blend of skills to work in the world. Upcoming workshops are listed on the Humanities Institute Events page.
The Center for the Humanities in Practice offers semester-long fellowships for graduate students in the Arts and Humanities interested in building skills and exploring opportunities for employment beyond traditional tenure-track academic positions. For further information about the fellowship and how to apply, visit our CHiP Fellowships page.
