Work in the World is a series of workshops held Spring semester of 2018 dedicated to improving career diversity among Humanities PhD students, and providing them with the resources to assist in their transition out of academia.

The Center introduces itself, the Work in the World series of workshops, and a tentative schedule for the semester.
Building Networks
This session introduces Ohio State's AlumniFire resource as well as LinkedIn -- two key networking resources. Presenters discuss the challenges associated with networking (e.g., finding time to do it, increasing comfort level if introverted, maintaining one's network over time). The presenters for this session are Lauren Luffy (Ohio State Alumni Association) and Stephanie Ford, PhD (Arts and Sciences Center for Career and Professional Services).

CHiP Fellowships
