Center for Folklore Studies Receives GAHDT Funding For "Revisioning Folklore Studies In The Academy And The Public Square"

The Center for Folklore Studies has received a $25,000  Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme (GAHDT) Centers Grant, for its project: “Revisioning Folklore Studies in the Academy and the Public Square.” This project represents a collaborative effort with the American Folklore Society to develop a learning community during the 2021-22 academic year that will bring together students, faculty and professionals working in the public folklore arena to reexamine our canon; interrogate the public/academic divide in our society; and develop our antiracist practice.  Please consider applying to our learning community.  Stay posted for more on the application process.
